Filled in

The same template for a fictional team.

Example
Handoff: Brightwell website, from Ana to Leo, Oct 25

Where it stands
Homepage layouts are approved. The menu page is built and waits for the client's prices.

Next 3 things to do
1. Add the menu prices when Sam sends them (expected Wednesday).
2. Send Sam the menu page preview by Friday.
3. Book the launch call for the week after.

People
- Sam, owner at Brightwell: approves everything; prefers short emails.
- Priya, their photographer: sends the shoot photos next week.

Where things are
- Design file: Brightwell / Website v2.
- Copy: the shared doc 'Brightwell site copy'.

Watch out for
- We promised the menu page goes live before the logo refresh.

I'm reachable for questions until Nov 1 by email.

Tips

  • Write the next three tasks, not the whole history. The rest is in the files.
  • List the promises already made. They're what gets dropped in a handoff.
  • Say until when and how you can still be asked questions.
