How we build: small milestones, real databases, no fake demos

The rules we follow so that what we show you is what we ship.

How we buildThe Jaymini team3 min read

We build Jaymini in milestones small enough to finish in days. Each one ends with something a second person can try on a laptop, and we stop to check it before starting the next.

  • Every milestone ships with tests, and our tests run against a real Postgres database, not mocks.
  • Access rules live in the database queries, never in an AI prompt.
  • We don't claim something works until a tool says it did. That goes for Jaymini and for us.
  • We say plainly what isn't built yet, on this site and in our plan.

What's real today

Paste meeting notes or any text, and Jaymini drafts the minutes with decisions, owners and deadlines, plus summaries and follow-up drafts, and stops for your review. It works in our invite-only build, not yet in the public download. Gmail, Google Docs, Slack, Google Calendar and Granola are built and tested against sample responses from each provider's docs, and switch on for real accounts once each provider's review is finished. Google Drive, Sheets and more apps are in the catalogue, awaiting setup too.

If you want to try it before anyone else, join the waitlist. We read every reply.
